New Web Address

New Address:
The day has come folks, this particular blog will no longer be readily updated.  It was time to go for a more streamlined and cleaner look.  Although this blog/website has been a true pleasure to watch grow over time, this move however,  has been long overdue.

I hope you all enjoy the new website and join me at the new home.  There will still be a blog section on the new web page, but one that I have a heck of a lot more options with.  In addition to that there will be an interactive calendar which will allow inquiries from those of you out there who wish to have me speak for your club, eventually with available guide dates once I am able to start that back up again.

I wanted to take the time to thank each and every one of you who have clicked on this page for the past few years, your interest in what I am passionate about are what bring me to this point today, and your support over the years doesn't go unnoticed.

I will still keep this page up and running for a period of time, there really isn't any need to remove it yet so to speak as there is a great deal of fun posts and information here, heck I may even transfer some of the older more relevant posts to the new site.  For the meantime, plug the new address into your bookmarks, and see you at the new location.

2nd To Last Post

You read that right, this is my second to last post at this blog.  I will have one more to go in the next week which will have the new web address.  This has been a great blog, but its time to clean things up a bit.  Don't worry however,  I will continue to have blog feed, but something much nicer.  Stay tuned for the announcement later this week.

In the meantime, lets talk fishing.  I managed to head out on some small water again this week, and this time with the guy who built the new website.  You see, Todd, like me, enjoys the pursuit of natives on small water probably as much if not more than myself.  So, with 60 degree weather in the middle of December, why not go chase some natives on some small water without having to battle crowds on the otherwise bigger water.  Now don't go thinking I have given up on chasing big browns throwing streamers, that never gets old for me.  I just needed a change of scenery lately.

The waters we hiked yesterday were about as scenic as they come around New England.  Although the numbers of fish were not super high, the fish we did manage to catch were absolutely stunning.  I even managed an old salt of sorts, his white and tattered lower chin indicate that he is a seasoned veteran for his neighborhood.  These kinds of trout are the real trophies in my book, and rival any brown north of 20 inches any day.  Enjoy the pictures, I know I am...

Bringing Back The Newsletter...

Start Filling Those Boxes, But First Give A Read.....
If you look at the right of the page you will all see that I have brought back the subscriber list for newsletters.  With a pile of changes coming in the forefront, I felt like this is by far the best way to keep all of you who have supported me, apprised of whats going on my side of things.   From video launches, presentations, hosted trips, fishing excursions, tying classes and hopefully guiding availability at some point,  you will be up to speed on whats going on here.

I will have an entirely new website launch in the not so distant future, and I will keep this particular web address live for a short period of time afterwards.  My intentions are to have everyone transition to the new web address once that goes live, some more good stuff on the way, but I won't let the cat out of the bag on that just yet.  So if you are interested, sign up, stay tuned.  I plan on releasing the first newsletter shortly after the new year and I promise to have it packed full of good info.  For now, be well, and don't eat too many of those holiday treats, but be sure to start stocking those fly boxes for 2016.
